What distinguishes the Collie from any other breed are his head properties, especially the eye, ear, and the typical expression. Without these qualities you have just an ordinary dog and with them you have one of the most majestic breeds imaginable.

Davenloch's The New World is sired by Prometheus Unbound, and Davenloch's Luminata is a granddaughter of Prometheus Unbound. Our logo dogs represent 3 consecutive generations of Davenloch breeding, as well as demonstrate four colors of the Collie from Sable Merle, Tri Color, Tri Factored Sable, and Blue Merle. For our logo, we chose to place our dog photos against a backdrop photo of our property located 45 minutes southeast of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada , as we thought the rolling hills somewhat resemble the look of the Scottish Highlands, birthplace of the Collie.
